So, you found me in my super-secret lair and now you want to know what kind of awesome superhero lives here (it could be Batman, for all you know).
Well, not exactly. Sadly, I'm not Batman, also my lair isn't really a lair and it's anything but secret but that isn't to say that I'm not totally awesome (that's up to you to decide)! Soo... who am I actually, if not Batman?

Simply put, I'm Zoë (yes, those two points on top of the "e" are important because I'm from Germany and in German you'd pronounce "oe" as "ö" and not "oë" and this doesn't make sense to you if you don't know umlauts but I'll pretend you do, yes?) also known as Imagoala because I came up with that years ago and never bothered to change it, even though it's pretty stupid. For Google sake my name should show up as "Imagoala Books" but that's about as fancy as it gets. I'm also 22 years old, I attend university, and I like to read a lot. I also have other interests (such as climbing and swimming and writing and, you know, the usual stuff) but I don't really think that's important to note here seeing as this blog is all about the books.

Speaking of which; books! I like them! Some of my favorites include: The Lord of the Rings (and The Hobbit, naturally), The Little Prince, anything by Megan Abbott, The Princess Bride, The Kingkiller Chronicle, anything by James Clemens, The Metamorphosis, anything by Cornelia Funke, anything by Neil Gaiman, anything by Victoria Schwab, and so on and so forth. I pride myself in reading basically any genre but I do have a tendency to stick to fiction (be it ya or adult), specifically fantasy/scifi and thriller/mystery books but in recent years I also started reading a lot of ya contemporary books. I'm not really into pure romance novels, I like to read nonfiction but I don't often get round to reading those, I grew up on fantasy so that's my happy place, I like to laugh a lot so intensely funny books are well love by me, but/and I often like my stories dark and twisted if I'm not craving something light and funny (because of stress).

If you want to know more about the books I like: this blog is already quite extensive and it shouldn't be hard to find out more about my tastes and how they actually manifest themselves. Or you could check out my Goodreads page. If you want to know more about me minus books then Twitter would be a place to start or you could just ask.

And that's pretty much it. I'm truly glad you found me/this, however you did, and I'm looking forward to hearing from you. Also, I don't have any kind of schedule. If I have the time I tend to post a lot if I have exams to study for I tend to post hardly at all (I'm obsessive about studying) which I'm sorry about and I'll try to be better in the future but a blog without stress is a blog I'll maintain longer, hopefully.

I hope you like what you see, have a nice day and happy reading!
